Appointments

The practice operates an appointment system only, with one appointment per person. Appointments can be made by telephoning the surgery between 8.30am and 5pm or calling at reception. In keeping with government guidelines we run an appointment system that allows access to a doctor or nurse within 48 hours. Please appreciate that appointments with a specific doctor may take longer.

It would be helpful for patients to be punctual and cancel any appointment that they no longer require. We see emergencies immediately and if you feel that your case is urgent you will get advice and be seen on that day if necessary.

Triage System

We operate a Triage System within the practice.   The patient can leave their name, contact telephone number and  brief symptoms with the medical receptionist. Our Nurse Practitioners will then return the call as soon as possible.  If the Nurse Practitioners feel they need to see the patient, they will arrange a time for the patient to come to the surgery.

House Calls

House calls should be requested before 10.30am.
